Internship Introduction

I began my internship on 31st January in Trim Castle Hotel. This is the start of my 5th week and so far I have experienced small amounts of almost every department in the hotel. I started off in reception, answering phone calls, taking reservations, dealing with guests and e-mail queries. I have since been working in the breakfast room, in the carvery section and setting up a hall for weddings. I also have had the opportunity to attend the Wedding fair, which I enjoyed. I look forward to the next few weeks, with the hope of helping out more in the bar, and learn about the accounts section.
